At the Discipline Prefect Meeting, Ms. Tsui introduced a new rule: “No running on the playground,” and required prefects to submit three disciplinary slips. During recess, Fifth-grade Vice Captain Chan Ching actively carried out this task. But at night, she and her grandma became street vendors who were prosecuted by the officers. With the next term’s prefect meeting approaching, a new head prefect will be elected then. In the end, can Chan Ching submit the three disciplinary slips?

風紀大會中，徐主任新增「操場上不可奔跑」的規則，並要求風紀繳交三張摘名紙。五年級風紀副隊長陳靖，於小息時積極執行任務。可到了晚上，她與嫲嫲卻成了被驅趕的地攤小販。下學期風紀大會將至，屆時也會選出新的風紀隊長。陳靖最後能否交出三張摘名紙？

Director statement
"Game Rule" is inspired by two memories from my childhood.

First, I have always been taught to be a well-behaved 'good child', believing that life is like an exam paper with clear standards of right and wrong. Like Chan Ching at the beginning of the story, I once casually took names of classmates just to complete the disciplinary slips.

Second, my grandmother is a street vendor in the "dusk market". In my childhood, I felt ashamed of her and never understood her work. After school each day, I would stay at her home waiting for my parents to finish work, often throwing tantrums and bullying her.

Through this work, I hope to reconcile these two memories and express the inexpressible love, while also exploring how society can find a balance between rules and freedom.

《兵捉賊》源自於我兒時的兩段回憶。

其一，自小我都被教育要成為一個循規蹈矩的「乖孩子」，認為世事如考試卷，有標準的對與錯。我如故事開頭的陳靖一樣，曾只為了完成「摘名任務」，就隨意找同學摘名。

其二，我婆婆是個天光墟地攤小販。兒時，我為她而感到自卑，亦從來都沒有了解過她的工作。那時每天放學後，我也會待在她的家等待父母下班，總是經常發脾氣欺負婆婆。

希望藉著作品，能與我這兩段回憶和解，亦希望藉此抒發難以言表的愛，及探討社會應該怎樣從規矩與自由之間找到平衡。
